Self-Confidence

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
                                                                                                                                                   Psalm 139: 14

Definition

Self-Confident: believe in oneself or one's own abilities

In one's own powers, judgment, etc.

In everything we do, we should have confidence in ourselves. God builds us up to love ourselves and to know that everything we do He gave us the gift to do it. Don’t allow anyone to put you down and say things like, you will never accomplish anything in life. Or you are just wasting your time. Nobody is going to see any good in that. In spite of what people say about you, you need to know you can do anything you set your mind to do. Have confidence in yourself and knock down all the negative things that come your way.

Hold your head up high and allow people to see what God sees in you. Don’t walk in fear wondering about where life will take you in the future. Live for today and God will help you with the rest. Treat yourself right and own your life. Set goals and start taking the steps you need to reach your goals. Speak up and you will eventually be heard. You will change somebody’s life forever. Know that everything you do and everywhere you go, put God first.

To start taking charge of your life:

ü  Ask God the things you need to change

ü  Write down your goals

ü  Start taking steps to reach you goals and be the person you need to be and have self-confidence

What ways can you build your Self-Confidence? How would you apply it in your life?

This blog post has been festering lately.  I have lots to say, but don't know how to say it.  Mainly, I want to say it with grace and conviction.  I worry that I won't do that properly, but I feel like this needs to be shared.

I don't support teen dating because I was a teen dater.

God Made Us UniQue Part 2

But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

Yet, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our Potter, and we all are the work of your hand.                                                                                                                                       Isaiah 64:8

I know a lot of you girls have heard of the potter. For those that haven’t heard of the potter, it is a person that works with clay and forms it into a pot, using a machine and his hands. Potters work real hard forming clay into a pot. When the clay is marred, he has to redo his work until it comes out perfect. This is an awesome example on how God forms us. See God is the Pot…
