Joy #4

Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is he who has the God of [special revelation to] Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psalm 146:5

Joy #1

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of your countenance! In Your name they rejoice all the day, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. Psalm 89:15,16

6 things to say on purpose

Shaping your world with God's WORDS BY JOYCE MEYER Have you ever thought about God's wonderful gift of speech? Proverbs 15:23 says, A word spoken at the right moment-how good it is! God has given us the ability to bless, encourage, praise, sing and worship with our words. But too often our mouths-and a tiny instrument called the tongue-get us into trouble. If you have an "unbridled" tongue-and I struggled for years in this area-there's no end to the havoc you can create in your own life and the lives of people around you. But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God's likeness! (James 3:8-9). Our words can do severe damage to our relationships, our careers and the world around us. But here's the good news: With the help of the Holy Spirit, they can also do great good. God can give us the

Health & Healing #5

Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones. Proverbs 3:7,8

Health & Healing #4

My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22

Health & Healing #2

...Restore me to vigorous life and health in your ways. Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant, which is for those who reverently fear and devotedly worship You. Psalm 119:37,38

God's Goodness #5

[Those shall be heard again] the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing as they bring sacrifices of thanksgiving of the Lord, Give praise and thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good; for His mercy and kindness and steadfast love endure forever! Jeremiah 33:11

God's Goodness #4

The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God's word]. Lamentations 3:25

Pssst! Come Close...

DRAW NEAR TO GOD'S PRESENCE FOR PEACE, JOY AND TRUE SATISFACTION BY JOYCE MEYER People search for happiness in a lot of places. They look to things like relationships, money, vacations houses, clothes, and even open doors of opportunity. Yet, while these things can bring a degree of excitement for a period of time, happiness is based on what is happening "in the moment." I was a Christian for several years before I understood that enjoying true peace and fulfillment is the most important thing in life. It's something that goes far beyond happiness to a deeper joy, regardless of our circumstances. And no matter what we own, where we go, or what we do, only one thing can give us this true satisfaction-God. Psalms 27:4 has become one of the foundational scriptures of my life. It says, One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to

God's Faithfulness #4

The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

God's Faithfulness #3

For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20

Finances & Provision #5

Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38
