Self-Confidence

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

Self-Confident: believe in oneself or one's own abilities

In one's own powers, judgment, etc.

In everything we do, we should have confidence in ourselves. God builds us up to love ourselves and to know that everything we do He gave us the gift to do it. Don’t allow anyone to put you down and say things like, you will never accomplish anything in life. Or you are just wasting your time. Nobody is going to see any good in that. In spite of what people say about you, you need to know you can do anything you set your mind to do. Have confidence in yourself and knock down all the negative things that come your way.

Hold your head up high and allow people to see what God sees in you. Don’t walk in fear wondering about where life will take you in the future. Live for today and God will help you with the rest. Treat yourself right and own your life. Set goals and start taking the steps you need to reach your goals. Speak up and you will eventually be heard. You will change somebody’s life forever. Know that everything you do and everywhere you go, put God first.

To start taking charge of your life:

ü  Ask God the things you need to change

ü  Write down your goals

ü  Start taking steps to reach you goals and be the person you need to be and have self-confidence

What ways can you build your Self-Confidence? How would you apply it in your life?

Hit The Delete Button

The other day I was watching Joel Osteen on television and he was talking about deleting negative things people may say about us. A lot of times we accept negative criticism that people say to us like, “you are never going to amount to anything in life; you’re never going to be the person you think you  are going to be when you grow up (doctor, lawyer, etc.)”.  When people keep talking about us negatively and we listen, we start believing it. We start saying to ourselves that I would never ever be able to do that. I don’t have the capability to do that at my skill level. Now we’re so deep in our own negative thoughts that down the line we’re never going to be who God called us to be in life. Instead of receiving negative comments from people, we need to delete them. You ask how, by saying the opposite. I will be that when I grow up. I am at that skill level to get that job. Never give up when you’re trying to reach your goals. When people say no never give up and keep pushing towa

Looking Forward

By Joyce Meyer Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God and you will be My people…. But they would not listen to and obey Me or bend their ear [to Me], but followed the counsels and the stubborn promptings of their own evil hearts and minds, and they turned their backs and went in reverse instead of forward.                                                                                    Jeremiah 7:23-24 I believe you are going to act on these devotional readings and begin living boldly and fearlessly as a confident woman. It doesn't matter how you lived before now, this is a new beginning. Every day God’s mercy is new, and it is available for all of us today. Don’t look back; look forward! Be decisive, follow your heart, and don’t be overly concerned about what other people think of you and your decisions. Most of them are not thinking about you as much as you might imagine that they are anyway. Don’t live constantly comparing yourself with o

Watch God Work!

By: Joyce Meyer Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today… The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.                                                                                       Exodus 14:13-14 We have free access to God. We can go before Him anytime we want to. We don’t need a special invitation. The throne room is always open, God is always home, He is never napping or on the phone. We can go boldly, expecting Him to meet our need and do it willingly and joyfully. No doubt millions of people pray, but the question we want answered is, how do they pray? Do they pray expectantly, boldly, fearlessly, confidently, aggressively, or ashamed, condemned, asking for barely enough to get by on and seriously doubting if they will even get that? You go, girl! Start praying like you have never prayed before. Believe that God wan
