BIO

SHANAY IS A FINE YOUNG LADY THAT HAS ALWAYS HAD A HEART TO BLESS OTHERS.
AS A SMALL CHILD IF SHE EVER ACCIDENTLY HURT SOMEONE, SHE WOULD BE THE ONE TO CRY. SHE NEVER EVER WANTED TO BE THE CAUSE OF ANYBODY ELSES PAIN AND SHE IS STILL THAT WAY TODAY.
WHEN SHE WAS LITTLE, SHANAY HAD VERY LOW SELF ESTEEM DUE TO HOW SHE PERSEIVED THE WAY HER YOUNGER SISTER TREATED HER. IN SPITE OF HOW MUCH SHE WAS LOVED BY EVERYONE ELSE, SHE ALWAYS FELT INADEQUATE. SHE NEVER REALIZED HOW PRECIOUS SHE WAS AND HOW SHE MADE A TREMONDOUS DIFFERENCE IN HER MOMS, NANAS AND OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS LIVES.
SHANAY BEGAN TO TRULY HEAR THE THINGS SHE WAS BEING TAUGHT AT HOME AND CHURCH AND WAS ABLE, AFTER MANY YEARS TO REALIZE SHE WAS A CHILD OF GOD AND WONDERFULLY AND FEARFULLY MADE.
BECAUSE OF THE LOVE SHE HAS FOR GOD AND OTHERS, SHANAY BEGAN TO BE A GIVER OF HER TIME AND HER MONEY. SHE HAS BEEN A TITHER FOR A LONG TIME AND BEGAN VOLUNTEERING IN THE NURSERY AT WORD OF LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTIRES IN DOVER, NEW JERSEY WHEN SHE WAS 9. SHE ALSO WORKED ON SUNDAY NIGHTS FOR THE SPANISH SERVICE SO THE PARENTS COULD ATTEND THE EVENING SERVICE. SHE TOOK HER DUTIES SERIOUSLY AND DID ALL SHE DID UNTO THE LORD. SHE WAS NOT ONE TO DO ANYTHING TO GET THE PRAISES OF PEOPLE.
NOT UNTIL SHE WAS A GROWN YOUNG LADY DID SHE REALIZE THAT ALL SHE WENT THROUGH AS A LITTLE GIRL AND YOUNG TEENAGER HELPED HER TO BECOME STRONGER THAN EVER. SHE BEGAN TO PRAY ABOUT HOW SHE COULD HELP OTHER YOUNG LADIES THAT MAY HAVE FELT OR EVEN STILL FEEL LIKE SHE DID AS A TEENAGER. GOD PUT THE UNIQUE GIRLZ ON HER HEART AND THE VISION WAS CONCEIVED. AFTER TWO YEARS OF PRAYING; GOING BACK TO SCHOOL TO LEARN WEB DESIGN AND WORKING ON HER SITE UNIQUE GIRLZ WAS BORN.
I BELIEVE THAT THIS SITE WILL Make A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF NOT ONLY YOUNG GIRLS, BUT PEOPLE PERIOD. THE LOVE, WISDOM AND INSIGHT THAT THE LORD HAS GIVEN SHANAY WILL BLESS MILLONS ALL OVER THE WORLD. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE OF THIS SITE YOUNG PEOPLE WILL LEARN TO LOVE THE LORD AND THEMSELVES. I THANK GOD THAT HE HAS BLESSED ME TO BE THE MOTHR OF SUCH A SPECIAL YOUNG WOMAN AND I GIVE HIM PRAISE FOR HER LIFE.

Hit The Delete Button

The other day I was watching Joel Osteen on television and he was talking about deleting negative things people may say about us. A lot of times we accept negative criticism that people say to us like, “you are never going to amount to anything in life; you’re never going to be the person you think you  are going to be when you grow up (doctor, lawyer, etc.)”.  When people keep talking about us negatively and we listen, we start believing it. We start saying to ourselves that I would never ever be able to do that. I don’t have the capability to do that at my skill level. Now we’re so deep in our own negative thoughts that down the line we’re never going to be who God called us to be in life. Instead of receiving negative comments from people, we need to delete them. You ask how, by saying the opposite. I will be that when I grow up. I am at that skill level to get that job. Never give up when you’re trying to reach your goals. When people say no never give up and keep pushing towa

Looking Forward

By Joyce Meyer Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God and you will be My people…. But they would not listen to and obey Me or bend their ear [to Me], but followed the counsels and the stubborn promptings of their own evil hearts and minds, and they turned their backs and went in reverse instead of forward.                                                                                    Jeremiah 7:23-24 I believe you are going to act on these devotional readings and begin living boldly and fearlessly as a confident woman. It doesn't matter how you lived before now, this is a new beginning. Every day God’s mercy is new, and it is available for all of us today. Don’t look back; look forward! Be decisive, follow your heart, and don’t be overly concerned about what other people think of you and your decisions. Most of them are not thinking about you as much as you might imagine that they are anyway. Don’t live constantly comparing yourself with o
