As a man thinks so is he. Battlefield of the mind is a great book, written by Joyce Meyer. When I was a teen my mom bought my sister and I the teen battlefield of your mind. I read that book in two days, that’s how good it is. It teaches you how to speak positive over your mind. You learn how to control your thoughts. A lot of teens and people period, always think bad about themselves and allow their minds get the best of them. As a teen my mind was a battlefield every day. I came to learn to shut out negative thoughts and over power it with positivity. If you haven’t read it I encourage you to do so. By Ginny This months teaching is about love.  The first one we will be learning about is the most important of all. Whitney Houston sang a song called “The Greatest Love”. She thought the greatest love was to love yourself.  Yes, that is a great love, which will be in one of the next lessons, but she was slightly mistaken. The greatest love is the love God has for us.  John 3:16 says that “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  God’s love is so great that He wanted us to be His children! Without Jesus bridging the gap between us and God, that would never ever happen. So, without judging us, and while we were still in our sin, God sent His Son to save us. NOW, that is true love!! His love did not say, “well, let Me see how good they are; let Me see if they will obey Me; let Me wait until they deserve it”. No, His love is pure and unconditional....
